Iconovo is a complete inhalation partner. We take you all the way through your pharmaceutical development, from idea to finalized inhalation product. Our strength is the integrated development of inhaler and dry powder formulation. Four differentiated technical inhaler platforms can be optimized with your unique dry powder formulation, and we also assist in manufacturing of clinical trial material for early clinical trials and technical documentation for registrations. Both generic drug companies and originator pharmaceutical companies have a win teaming up with Iconovo. Integrated development
Inhalation is a multidisciplinary industry that requires a good interplay between many different areas, such as chemistry, pharmacy, biology, mechanics, and aerodynamics. At Iconovo, development of the inhaler, formulation and pharmaceutical analysis is carried out in close collaboration between these functions, reducing lead times, costs, and risks.
Iconovo have invested in our own laboratories equipped with specialized equipment for the development of inhalation products. We offer design tools for inhalers, powder formulation equipment for measuring and mixing and characterization of the final product using NGI and HPLC methods. Meeting quality standards is of utmost importance in the pharmaceutical industry. Iconovo’s Quality Management System complies with the medical device standard ISO 13485 and FDA’s Quality System Regulation 21 CFR Part 820. Iconovo’s combination product development is conducted in accordance with FDA requirements (21 CFR 4) and follows the guidelines of EMA, FDA, and ICH for combination products.
